Winter Adult Basketball
Play six regular-season games followed by a single-elimination tournament. All regular season games consists of two (2) twenty (20)-minute halves and are officiated by two referees. All games are played on Sunday nights and begin January 6. Games are scheduled at 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Game locations alternate between the CRC, Mark Twain Elementary School, Tarkington Elementary School and, possibly, Wheeling High School. Double-header games and bye weeks may be scheduled. Completed team rosters and player signatures are due by the first game and may not be altered after the
Designed to promote sportsmanship and teamwork, all divisions focus on understandingand enjoying the game. WWS and Division 1 emphasize fundamentals and skill development over competition. As the divisions progress, so does the competition. All levels play a 10-game schedule. There is no season-ending tournament for any division except Division 4 which plays in the Northwest Suburban Park District Conference. A Wheeling Park District jersey is required for all players and can be purchased at the CRC Guest Service Desk.

Prepare for winter basketball at this three-day camp over Winter Break! Drills and games are designed to challenge players to work harder and smarter on the court. Participants practice basketball fundamentals to develop in all aspects of the game. Teamwork and sportsmanship are emphasized.
Fee: $4/Adult; $2/Youth
