Looking for something to do in town that does not cost a lot of money? Want a place to hang out with your friends? Check out the Wheeling Park District's programs and activities. There is sure to be something that you will enjoy!
Open Gym The CRC has Open Gym available for basketball throughout the year. Three-on-three or full-court games are always available based on attendance. Check the Web site for the Open Gym Schedule.
Ping Pong The CRC has Ping Pong tables, paddles, and balls available for use. Drop-in and play. Call
(847) 465-3333 for room availability or stop by the Guest Service Desk.
The LOBBY @ the CRC - Foosball, Chess, Checkers, Cards, and Free WiFi Access The LOBBY at the CRC is a great place to hang out with friends and play foosball, board
games, checkers, chess, or a game of cards. Bring your laptop and expand your fun by
utilizing the FREE WiFi access.
Indoor Bocce Ball The CRC has official size and weight balls and equipment for an indoor game of Bocce.
Bring your friends and challenge them to a match. Room location and times vary. Stop by

Vending Machines Thirsty? Hungry for a snack? The CRC has several vending machines with a selection of
snacks and beverages for your enjoyment.
Outdoor Ice Skating During the winter months, Wheeling Park District operates outdoor ice rinks at Chamber Park and the CRC for free public skating and hockey
play. When in season, both rinks close at dusk. To check on ice conditions, call the 24-hour hotline at (847) 537-2284 or visit the Home page of the Wheeling Park District Web site. The Green Flag on the
page indicates the ice is open; a Red Flag means the ice is not open for skating.
Arctic Splash Open Swim The Arctic Splash indoor pool has open swim hours available throughout the day. Check current schedule listings for availability online at Arctic Splash Open Swim Schedule or at the CRC. Fee: General Admission or Aquatic Membership
Middle School Parties - For specially scheduled evenings, the $1
admission gets you music, fun, and snacks. Events are scheduled three times per year, watch the website or look for information at school on upcoming dates. Bring your friends and plan on partying!
Baggo FREE drop-in Baggo games are available, in the
LOBBY of the CRC. Ask about it at the Guest Services desk.
Geocaching Get in on the international craze of Geocaching. Find the hidden caches in some of your favorite Wheeling parks. Visit www.geocaching.com and let the adventure begin!
