Private/Semi-Private Swim Lessons

Private and semi-private swim lessons are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Please pick up and fill out a request form at the CRC Guest Service Desk. In you are interested in semi-private lessons, please have a partner at the time of request as we are unable to pair students.

Private: $16/$19 per lesson (Res/Non-Res)
Semi-Private: $13/$16 per lesson (Res/Non-Res)

Adult Swim Lessons
Get the attention you need in these semi-private lessons with a 4-to-1 participant-to-instructor ratio. Geared toward the beginning adult swimmer, the relaxed atmosphere allows for the focus to remain on the fundamentals of swimming to improve skills. Lessons are personalized to meet your needs.

Youth Swim Lessons / Swim School

Preschool One Fish This class focuses on the new preschool-aged swimmer. Skills include blowing bubbles, learning front and back floats with a swim belt on, jumping in with assistance, and paddling 30 feet using alternating arms. This class takes place in the leisure pool.

Preschool Two Fish This class focuses on the advancing preschool swimmer. Skills include paddling 25 yards with a belt on front and back, jumping in unassisted, and doing five bobs under water. This class takes place in the lap pool.

Preschool Three Fish This class focuses on the advanced preschool swimmers' skills including front swim with rhythmic breathing 25 yards, front and back floating for 10 seconds, 10 bobs under water, and treading water for 30 seconds. Children who pass out of this level enter into Swim School at level 2. This class takes place in our lap pool.

Swim School

Level I Goldfish Goldfish Level takes place in the lap pool and covers basic swim techniques for ages 6 and up. Enroll in this class if your child has never taken lessons before or is still a beginner. Skills covered include bobs, swimming on front and back with flotation aids, and floating.

Level 2 Pufferfish Pufferfish is the second level of swim school for children ages 6 and up. Children transition from using floatation aids to not using them. In order to pass this level, all required primary skills must be demonstrated without the floatation aid.

Level 3 Angelfish Angelfish is the third level for children ages 6 and up. Students are taught rotary breathing and coordinated pull and kick in breaststroke.

Level 4 Tigerfish Tigerfish is the fourth level of swim school for ages 6 and up. Breaststroke is refined and proficiency in freestyle and backstroke is stressed.

Level 5 Parrotfish Parrotfish is the fifth and final level of Swim School for ages 6 and up. Endurance, distance, and proficiency are focused on with all strokes. Butterfly and flip turns are emphasized.
