WPD Fitness Center Fitness Assessments

Each annual fitness member is entitled to one complimentary fitness assessment per year.  Your test will take approximately 1 – 1 ½ hours to complete.  During your appointment the Fitness Specialist will assess the following:

  • Height / Weight
  • Resting Pulse and Blood Pressure
  • Body Composition (Skin Fold Caliper or Circumference Methods)
  • Aerobic Capacity (Sub-Maximal Stationary Bike or Treadmill Test)
  • Flexibility (Sit and Reach Test)
  • Muscular Strength (Bicep Curl and/or 1 Min Sit-up / Push-up Test)

Your appointment will conclude with a comprehensive printout of your test results and a consultation with the Fitness Specialist regarding test interpretation and advice for improvement.  Participants are required to complete a pre-test health history and may require physician’s clearance.  Personal training clients are highly encouraged to complete the baseline assessment prior to scheduling a training session(s).  Call the fitness desk at (847) 465-2943 to schedule an appointment.
