Group Cycle
Group Cycling is an aerobic exercise class that takes place on a specially-designed stationary bicycle called a spinning bike. The intensity of the workout is regulated by the amount of resistance you apply to the flywheel of the Spin Bike. Group Cycle classes are led by trained instructors who guide and motivate you through your ride. This class is set to music and YOU are in control of YOUR ride! You set your pace to achieve your personal fitness goals! Group Cycle is non-competitive and is appropriate for all fitness levels! Bike shorts are recommended; water is required!
Bosu Ballworks - BOSU
50 minutes of strength, core and balance utilizing the BOSU, resist-a-ball, and medicine balls followed by a 10-minute full body stretch. No choreography.
Step and Strength
30 minutes of step, followed by 30 minutes of strength.
Strength
A strength-training class utilizing various resistance equipment - tubing, dumbbells, stability balls, and foam rollers to define and strengthen your body.
Step, Strength & Stretch
30 minutes of step, 20 minutes of toning and 10 minutes of a relaxing stretch.
Aqua Arthritis
Sanctioned through the Arthritis Foundation, these classes are perfect for anyone suffering from arthritis. Water temperature is 84-86 degrees. Class focuses on range of motion and mobility in a relaxing atmosphere.
AquaFit
A water fitness class for those looking for a cardiovascular and strength workout for weight management with limited impact on joints .
AquaFit Plus
Experience the benefits of a water fitness class at a more intense level!
Group Fitness Passport
The punch card is your passport to participate in any of our group fitness classes and select aquatic classes. You do not need to register for any of these classes specifically and you may attend any or all of the classes. Select which punch card will work best for your fitness needs and join us in a class today! Punch cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase. No refunds will be granted for unused portions. Punch cards are non-transferable and may only be used by the individual whose name appears on the card. Wheeling Park District reserves the right to cancel classes due to low participation.
