EZ-Reg Online registration is now available!

Click on the EZ-Reg logo located on the Welcome page or on the top banner of any page on the Wheeling Park District Web site. Online registration is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Your memorable experience is just a click away!

Walk-In
Bring your completed registration form and payment (cash, check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover only) during Guest Service Desk hours directly to:

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM-8 PM
Saturday, 8 AM-5 PM
Sunday, 10 AM-5 PM

The electronic form substitutes for and has the same legal effect as the original document.

Drop Box
For convenient after-hours drop-off, a depository is located at the registration counter next to the Guest Service Desk. Deposit your completed registration form and payment (cash, check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover only).

New Registration System

The Wheeling Park District has completed installation of a new and improved Recreation Registration System. The system employs the latest technology and operates in a "real-time", paperless format. This means that when you walk in to register for a class or program at the CRC, you go directly to the Guest Service Desk. In most cases, you will not need to fill out any paperwork. And, you will know immediately that you have been accepted in a class or program.

No "Electronic Lottery"

Walk-In Registration is completed on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, with this "real-time" system, it is to your advantage to register early. This new system also eliminates the need for the "Electronic Lottery".

Dates to Remember

Walk-In Registration for the Summer session will be accepted beginning Friday, April 18 , at 8 AM.

The Resident Priority Registration Deadline is Monday, May 5 . Register for classes and programs by the resident priority registration deadline.

Open Registration will begin on Tuesday, May 6, at 8 AM.

Three More Ways to Register

Registration also is accepted by mail, fax, and the "after-hours" drop box. Although these forms of registration do not offer the "real-time", paperless features of Walk-In Registration, every effort will be made to process them in a timely manner. Incomplete forms, including those with unsigned waivers, may delay the registration process. If classes and/or programs are full, you will be placed on the Wait List, and notified by telephone or letter. Confirmation receipts will be mailed to notify registrants of their acceptance in a program or class.

Deadline Dollar Saver...Registration Deadlines

Because some recreation programs require ordering uniforms, supplies, and hiring additional staff based on enrollment, Registration Deadlines have been established. Programs with Registration Deadlines are noted with the symbol.

To be assured of a position in a program, please register on or before the Registration Deadline. Those registering after the published Registration Deadline will be subject to a Late Registration Fee ($10) and placed on the Wait List. Every attempt will be made to place Wait List registrants; however, maximum enrollment may have been achieved.

Recreation Program Satisfaction Guarantee

At the Wheeling Park District, we are constantly striving to provide you with high quality recreation programs and activities. We are confident that you will enjoy the programs….so confident that we ensure our promise of quality with our Satisfaction Guarantee.

The Wheeling Park District guarantees that you will be satisfied with recreation programs in which you participate. If you are not completely satisfied, call or stop by the guest service desk at the CRC before 1/2 of the program (meetings and practices included) is over. The guest service clerk will assist you in completing a Satisfaction Guarantee request form. If you wish to discontinue the program, the Wheeling Park District will then do one of the following:

1. Allow you to repeat the program at no charge.
2. Issue a credit for fees paid toward another program (if available.)
3. Issue a refund check.

In the case of a medical refund request, a doctor’s note stating a release must be provided and a prorated refund (cost of remaining program meetings) will be mailed to the guest’s home.

The Satisfaction Guarantee does not include adult athletic leagues, trips, Children In Action, and one-day events.

In our continuing efforts to best serve the recreational needs of the community, the Wheeling Park District has developed the Satisfaction Guarantee. It is based on fulfilling our promise to deliver the published expectations for a particular program. If you are not satisfied, we kindly request your input in the form of suggestions, comments or ideas for improvement.

Program Cancellation Policy

The Wheeling Park District reserves the right to cancel, postpone or combine classes as necessary. Classes may be canceled due to low enrollment. Do not wait until the last minute to register!
