Northside Park       220 Glendale Ave.      3 acres

In 1970, the Park District was able to purchase 8.35 acres of land in the former Skinner Farm property subdivision. As part of the acquisition plan, the parcel was further subdivided shortly thereafter. Lot 1 (3.06 acres) became Northside Park, and Lot 2 (3.69 acres) was sold to School District #21 for a new school building site. Each party assumed one-half of the 1.6 ac. easement acreage.
