Wellness Program

The Wheeling Park District offers wellness classes that focus on both body and mind! We invite you to take time to take care of yourself. For more information on any of the wellness classes listed below, or to register, please stop by the Guest Service Desk or call 847-465-3333. Pre-registration is required. (Class passes are not accepted for Wellness programs.)

Hatha Yoga

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is for those who do not feel comfortable getting on the floor to exercise on the Yoga mat, but could still benefit from the techniques used in Yoga. Learn the techniques with personalized modifcations while sitting in a chair. No experience necessary.

Relaxing and Rejuvenating Yoga

Time: 5:00-6:00pm

Revitalize the body by increasing circulation to the organs and calming the nervous system. This class focuses on breathing, gentle poses, and guided relaxation to help achieve total relaxation. Leave feeling well-rested and calm.
