Camp Leader


The Day Camp Leader is a seasonal position that will be working with campers that range from 6-13 years of age. The Leader must be enthusiastic, caring, and committed to providing an outstanding experience for the campers. They will be responsible for organizing daily activities, maintaining good communication with parents and campers, supervision and leadership of their camp groups and planning camp activities. The Day Camp program is designed to provide full-day recreational care to its participants with an emphasis on having fun through engaging activities in a positive, safe and structured environment. The Day Camp Leader position is for the following camps: Junior/Senior Adventure Camp, Junior/Senior Sports Camp, Art Camp and AM and PM Camp Care. The Day Camp Leader position will focus on supporting their staff of counselors and sub within their camp as needed.


  • Must be 18 years of age as of June 1, 2022


  • Prior camp or childcare experience, must feel comfortable leading activities and leading a team of counselors.


  •  The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-3:15 pm (depending on camp assignment), an average of 35 hours per week. 2022 camp dates are June 6-August 5. Post camp opportunities are August 8-12.


  • $13.00-$14.00 per hour
