Camp Counselor

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduate of a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Education or related field

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior Camp supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of a camp program and activities
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Valid Illinois Driver’s License

HOURS:

  • 30 minutes prior to the start of camp and 30 minutes after the end of camp
  • The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-3:15 pm (depending on camp assignment), an average of 35 hours per week – 2023 camp dates are June 5th – August 4th

RATE OF PAY:

  • $15.00 per hour
