Unplug at the Park Kicks Off June 11 at Heritage Park!
This summer, step away from screens and step into something better
The Wheeling Park District invites families, friends, and neighbors to reconnect with each other and the outdoors through our Unplug at the Park series. These free community events begin Tuesday, June 11 at Heritage Park and continue throughout the summer at parks across the District.
Unplug at the Park is all about making memories together in the fresh air. Whether you are playing games, exploring trails, or relaxing on the grass, these events offer a chance to slow down and enjoy meaningful time with your community.
Each event features engaging activities for all ages, as well as opportunities to learn more about the many benefits of parks and recreation.
Meet Your Board
At every Unplug at the Park event, a member of the Wheeling Park District Board of Commissioners will be present to connect with guests, answer questions, and share updates on current projects and the Board’s role in supporting community recreation.
Sue Stein, Board President, will be on-site for the kickoff event at Heritage Park on June 11
